Our Story
Hungry Moose Caboose didn't start in a boardroom — it started at a picnic table with a cast-iron skillet and a stubborn belief that the best meals happen when you're hungry, the company is good, and the mountains are close enough to touch.
We opened our doors in Jefferson along the shores of Lake Dillon because this stretch of Colorado feels like a secret the rest of the world hasn't figured out yet. The air is thinner, the water is colder, and the people who find their way here tend to stay longer than they planned.
Every dish on our menu is built the same way we built this place — with patience, with local ingredients, and with zero interest in pretense. You're not here to be impressed. You're here because you're hungry, and we're here to make sure you leave fuller than when you walked in.
